Building The Tiny Bistro...

After having catered for a number of years, it was time to expand our footprint! We ordered our concession trailer in late 2023 with the expected delivery date being 8-10 weeks later.

Well, it ended up taking a little longer than that, but we are thrilled to officially embark on this new journey. From the first day The Tiny Bistro was delivered in February 2024 the fun began!

Below shows our most memorable moments as we took a shell of a trailer and brought it to life.

I love this inexpensive find which will save our linoleum in the trailer! They are actually premium rubber pads meant for furniture in a home. We used them under each of our stainless tables. These little gems also make it easy to move the tables around if we need to. We will, however, be fastening each tables to the walls for safe travelling.

Another awesome inexpensive find on Amazon!

We used these 4 inch heavy duty bed risers to elevate our three compartment sink where we needed it to be. These are not stationary but our sink will be fastened to the wall for safe travelling. So far they have worked exactly as we expected.

We needed to find a compact solution to be able to air dry the little dishes we will need to do while in the trailer. This Ikea find will be perfect, we purchased two of them which have been positioned just above the sink. The baskets can be easily removed and stowed away if need be.

We're very happy with how the front of the trailer turned out. We're almost done with this part. Our next step is to hook up the generator to test everything; including running hot water. The moment of truth!!
